This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through velqoranta.com, for what purpose, on what legal basis and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

2. Data we collect
We collect the data you provide to us directly when you subscribe to our newsletter (name and email address), as well as technical data automatically collected through cookies and similar technologies (IP address, browser type, language preference, pages visited and time of visit).
3. Purposes and legal basis
We process your data to send you our newsletter and project updates (based on your consent, art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), to ensure the operation and security of our website (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and to comply with legal obligations (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. Retention period
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe. Technical log data is kept for a maximum of 12 months, unless longer retention is legally required.
5. Recipients of your data
Your data is only shared with carefully selected processors within the European Economic Area, such as our email provider and analytics provider. With each of them we sign data processing agreements compliant with the GDPR.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to the processing of your personal data.
